FOUNDER

Short Stays Procurement was founded by Josh Hooley and developed naturally from his wider work and interests across the property sector. Josh has worked in property procurement for several years and completed hundreds of property transactions. His wider professional background also includes previous work within the UK Government and the charity sector.

Over the years, Josh has consulted for numerous serviced accommodation SMEs across the UK, helping clients identify suitable opportunities and successfully grow their property portfolios. As demand for his procurement support continued to increase, he established Short Stays Procurement to provide this service regularly through a dedicated, structured and commercially focused business.

Josh remains closely involved in developing relationships, assessing opportunities and helping operators secure properties that suit their individual plans and acquisition criteria.

MARKETING SUPPORT

Charlotte has several years of experience supporting the marketing and communications activity of growing SMEs, including businesses operating within the property, hospitality and professional-services sectors.

Her background includes planning social media content, coordinating email campaigns, using AI powered tools for marketing, developing educational resources and helping businesses communicate complicated services in a clear and accessible way. She has also supported webinars, community engagement and wider campaigns designed to build long-term relationships with prospective clients.

At Short Stays Procurement, Charlotte helps coordinate our marketing activity and ensures the information we share remains practical, relevant and genuinely useful to serviced accommodation operators. She supports the production of guides, webinars and operator resources, while helping us maintain a consistent and approachable voice across our website, social media and wider communications.

DIGITAL SUPPORT

Alice has experience in digital operations, website management and the systems used by growing online and service-based businesses.

Her background includes maintaining websites, organising digital resources, supporting customer-management systems and helping businesses improve the way prospective clients interact with them online. She has also worked with email platforms, online forms, reporting tools and automated processes designed to make information easier to access and internal operations more efficient.

At Short Stays Procurement, Alice supports the digital infrastructure behind the business. She helps maintain our website, manage access to free guides and operator resources, support online events and ensure enquiries are directed through the appropriate systems. Her work helps us provide operators with a straightforward and reliable digital experience from their first interaction with us.

Outside of work, Alice is a keen amateur photographer and spends many of her weekends exploring National Trust properties with her cocker spaniel, Milo.

ADMINISTRATION SUPPORT

Edward has a background in business administration and operational support, having previously worked with growing property and service-based SMEs.

His experience includes managing customer enquiries, coordinating documentation, maintaining business records and supporting transactions involving several different parties. He is accustomed to working in fast-moving environments where clear communication, accurate information and consistent follow-up are essential.

At Short Stays Procurement, Edward supports the administration behind our procurement process. He helps organise property information, maintain client records, coordinate updates and ensure important actions are followed through as opportunities progress. His role helps keep the process organised and allows our clients, agents, landlords and wider professional network to receive clear and timely communication throughout each transaction.
